Alan J. Fumuso was a featured speaker in a CLE program sponsored by the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers and NAM (National Arbitration Mediation) on July 28, 2021. The program was entitled Mastering MedMal Mediations, and Mr. Fumuso was a member of a Panel consisting of Judge Peter Skelos, Judge Marsha Steinhardt, and Eleni Coffinas, Esq. The program was presented virtually, and attended online by over 700 lawyers and judges in New York State.
Alan J. Fumuso, at the request of OMS National Insurance Company, authored an Article on the subject of E-Communication in the Doctor-Patient Relationship. It was published in the July 2021 edition of the OMS GUARDIAN, the Patient Safety and Risk Management National Newsletter for OMSNIC and its assured Oral Surgery and Dental Medical Professionals.
In September 2020, Scott G. Christesen and Jordan B. Karp made a presentation for the Stony Brook Clinical Practice Management Plan for physicians and other healthcare providers entitled “Ins and Outs of Medical Malpractice.” The three-session program was attended by over 150 physicians and healthcare providers.
