Sandra is an Associate attorney at Fumuso Christesen LLP, with over ten years of experience in trial litigation.

Prior to joining the firm in 2023, Sandra worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel and subsequently, Assistant Borough Chief, for the City of New York. During her tenure with the City, she successfully defended the City and its agencies in all types of cases involving claims of negligence. While working for the City, she also tried personal injury cases in Queens County involving issues of general liability.

Since joining Fumuso Christesen LLP, Sandra has focused her practice on the defense of civil matters representing healthcare providers, hospitals, nursing homes, and general liability clients. She is involved in all aspects of medical malpractice and civil defense litigation from inception of the lawsuits through the discovery process – including depositions, motions, and court proceedings – and, ultimately, to trial.
