Mr. Karp graduated Cum Laude from Tulane School of Law and thereafter was appointed as a District Attorney in Bronx County, assigned to The Special Victims Unit where he prosecuted Domestic Violence, Sex Abuse and Child Abuse Crimes. During his six years at the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Karp prosecuted over twenty cases to verdict.
Mr. Karp came to Fumuso Christesen LLP in 2006 and has handled cases from inception to verdict in medical malpractice, nursing home malpractice, general liability and labor law cases. He also handles all aspects of legal claims brought against federally-supported health centers under the Federal Torts Claims Act on behalf of their employees and attending physicians.
